Step by Step
Congratulations! On your decision to invest in a pool from Portch Pools & Spas.
Now that you are happy with our proposal, we schedule another meeting to finalise paperwork and to schedule installation. At this time we confirm everything that was previously discussed and also take final measurements for the council application.
We arrange for your pool to be manufactured to your specifications and we personally collect all pools from the Compass factory and transport them back to your storage yard for safe keeping. We will contact you when your pool arrives.
Our next call to you will be to schedule the start of excavation and the delivery of your pool.
Every project is different; however we like to work within our general installation schedule.
This is an example of our schedule:
| Day 1: | Pool site marked out for excavation and temporary fence erected. Excavation is completed (depending on difficulty this may go into day 2) |

| Day 2: | Sand bed is prepared ready for the delivery of your pool. When delivered the pool is placed into the hole and we start connecting filtration pipes. Back filling commences and we start filling your pool. |
| Day 3: | Backfilling continues and the filtration equipment is connected. We continue to fill. |
| Day 4: | Backfilling now complete, preparation now begins for the concrete bond beam. |
| Day 5/6: | The coping / paving is now completed. |
N.B. Allowances will be made from time to time due to weather, equipment availability and individual project requirements.
